In this form it was produced during following years:
1913 Knight models were manufactured by Daimler Motoren Geselschaft. They were equipped with Knight engines. The start of production of the Mercedes-Knight 16/45 PS model. It was the successor to the Mercedes-Knight 16/40 PS model, and differed by increased engine power.
1923 Discontinuation of production of the model. The successor was the 16/50 PS model. Only two copies of the 16/50 PS were made, the Knight engines proved unreliable and Daimler abandoned their production.
