Remarks: The turn signals are non-original, in this year there were still mechanical arrows. I defined the model as 401 according to the information sheet, but the grill is non-original from the 411 version.
In this form it was produced during following years: 1953 Production of the 2010 model ends and production of the 401 model begins. A Mercedes star appears on the grill. Same simple checkered grill as in Unimog 2010, oval, almost round rear lights. 1956 End of production of the 401 model and start of production of 411 model. The easiest way to tell them apart is by the grill. Unimog 411 has a mesh grill instead of a checkered grill.
