Remarks: Date from information sheet, but the grille with this pattern was produced until 1969. Maybe this is a date of first registration.
In this form it was produced during following years:
1968 The start of production of the W 115 model, the successor to the W 110. Production of the twin W 114 began as early as December 1967. W 114 had six-cylinder engines, while the W 115 had four- and five-cylinder engines. In appearance, they are identical. Available versions of the W 114 are: introduced last year 250 and new 230. W 115 was available as: 200, 220, 200 D, 220 D. Only the W 114 250 version has a double front bumper. The first series can be recognized by the rear lamps with flat lamp shades, narrower and higher grille than the polift versions.
1969 Introduction of the coupe body of the W 114 model. Available versions are: 250 C, 250 CE. The grill changes slightly, the mesh now has larger openings.
